Kendriya Vidyalaya Champua is one of the 50 Kendriya Vidyalayas sanctioned in the year 2019 by Ministry of education Govt. of India. Due to certain constraints in temporary accommodation and transfer of land for construction of permanent building it is delayed till 2025. Finally Kendriya Vidyalaya sangathan officially notified on 23rd June 2025 to open Kendriya Vidyalaya Champua from the session The people of Champua rejoiced with profound happiness.
